JCB is working with the VSBA and Clifton Hill Primary School to design and deliver a dynamic vertical campus for senior year students providing exemplary learning, staff working and multipurpose community environments.
Located on a corner site opposite Darling Gardens, the building responds to its urban context and features clear visual links to both existing campuses. The articulated brick work references both the main campus heritage building and the second Organ Factory campus building.
The project utilises mass timber hybrid construction to meet Passivhaus Standards, a first for the VSBA, and integrates a visible PV array on the accessible roof terrace to provide both power to the building and a visual learning opportunity.
