Associate Interior Designer

We’re looking for a passionate, highly motivated, Associate Interior Designer to join our Brisbane studio.  

You will be working across an exciting and dynamic portfolio of multi residential, workspace, residential, university, school, sports, public and community projects, bringing strong communication skills and design leadership.

Multi-res Project Director

We’re looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced Multi-Residential specialist to join our team.

You will be working across an exciting and dynamic portfolio of multi-residential projects including build to sell, built to rent, affordable housing, retirement living etc, bringing strong communication skills and team leading ability.

JCB’s purpose is to listen, learn and make. Our approach to multi residential design is underpinned by a commitment to livability, amenity, placemaking, community and connection — balancing excellence in architectural form with the practical requirements.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:    
• Multi Residential Specialist
• Leading multiple projects as a Project Director
• 10-15+ years’ experience
• Leading Feasibility Studies, Fee Proposals and Bids
• Participation in Business Development / Public Speaking
• Larger Project Experience
• Architect, Registered

Studio Resourcing Manager

We’re looking for a passionate, highly motivated Studio Resourcing Manager with experience in Project Resourcing and HR to join our team.

You will lead our Project Resourcing and Human Resources in coordination with the Practice Manager and Project Directors. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and manage the coordination of resourcing across the Studios.
  • Development of Project Resource plans in accordance with Project Directors and Project Leaders.
  • Maintain and develop project Resources Plans and Org charts across studios.
  • Maintain our weekly / monthly / estimate to complete resources matrix.
  • Coordinate weekly / monthly Project Resourcing check-ins with the various leaders.
  • Assisting with the Leadership of Human Resources tasks and compliance items across the Studios.
  • Assisting with the management of Annual Review and Check In process across the studios.
  • Assisting with management of Recruitment processes.
  • Managing the day-to-day aspects of HR including WFH requests, skills matrix, training programs, approving leave and communication requirements.
  • Leading people and culture innovation in the Studio and any strategic improvements with the Practice Manager.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in Project Resourcing in similar scale practices.
  • Understanding of Project Delivery, resourcing models for small and large projects and multi typology.
  • Experience in Human Resources leadership in similar scale practices.
  • 15+ industry experience.
  • Experience in Deltek Vantagepoint or similar Practice Management Software i.e. Total Synergy or BST.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, great communicator and collaborator.
  • Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering professional experience required.
