Current Positions
JCB's Brisbane studio is looking for passionate and collaborative Architect or Experienced Graduate of Architecture with strong design, documentation, presentation and delivery skills.
About the role
Based in our Adelaide Street studio, you’ll be working in a collaborative and inclusive team environment to deliver exciting, design-focused projects. You’ll:
- Produce concept, schematic, design development presentation packages
- Prepare accurate construction documentation in Revit
- Collaborate with clients and consultants with support of Project Leaders
- Provide contract administration assistance for projects under construction
- Assist with any other design and documentation tasks
About you
You're able to work closely with our team and clients to deliver high quality design and documentation packages for multi-residential, education and public projects.
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- 5 Years Experience (minimum)
- Proficiency using Revit
- Proficiency using Sketch-Up and Adobe Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable in front of clients and consultants
- Experience in multi-residential, education or public projects essential
- Positive, proactive and motivated attitude
- Capacity to work as part of a team or autonomously

We’re looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced Documentation Quality Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will help lead JCB’s Documentation processes across all typologies. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with Project Planning to assist Project Architects/Interior Designers with determining documentation scope.
- Governing Document control processes to meet QA requirements.
- Reviewing and marking up documentation packages.
- Reviewing Project Schedules and Specifications.
- Assisting Project Architect/Interior Designer with documentation co-ordination.
- Assisting Project Architect/Interior Designer and other team members with detailing resolution.
- Managing relationships with external specification consultants (spec writers)
- Working with JCB BIM/CAD Managers to streamline documentation practices and integration with modern file sharing platforms (ACC).

- Experience as a Documentation Quality Manager
- 20+ industry experience
- Practical experience across all stages of project delivery with a focus on larger / complex projects
- Architect, registered
