In 2022, JCB was commissioned to undertake a Master Plan Study for all four of St Kevin’s campuses: Heyington, Glendalough, Waterford, and Tooronga. The purpose was to perform a comprehensive review and plan for the College’s future development.

Key considerations included pedagogy, student and staff wellbeing, biophilia, future technology needs, projected staff and student numbers.

Our research spanned cultural heritage, environmentally sustainable design, landscape, sporting, financial and historical constraints and opportunities.

The process involved a detailed analysis of existing conditions with a full team of sub-consultants, and in-depth stakeholder engagement with students, staff, school leadership and parents. Pedagogical analysis was led by JCB collaborator and specialist education consultant, New Learning Environments.
