We’re pleased to announce the promotion of Jon Liow and Anja Grant to the role of Senior Associate. 

Jon and Anja have both significantly advanced our Interior design leadership and project expertise since joining the practice, and their new positions recognise their proven capabilities as both Design and Project Directors. In their new roles, Jon and Anja will closely support our senior leadership team and will continue to drive the growth and success of our Interior Design capability across our Melbourne and Brisbane studios.

Anja is a charismatic and collaborative designer who naturally inspires and leads those around her. Approachable and engaging, she brings energy, warmth, and clarity to every interaction, creating an atmosphere where ideas thrive. Anja excels at translating complex briefs into clear, strategic outcomes that drive thoughtful and responsive design solutions. Anja brings over 20 years of experience across hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors. Her multidisciplinary expertise and international experience in the UK inform her contextual and considered design approach.

As an architect and industrial designer, Jon is passionate about using design to encourage more meaningful ways of living. He strives to create thoughtful design experiences that enhance everyday life on an intimate and individual level. His multidisciplinary portfolio spans a variety of typologies, from furniture and lighting, to retail, residential, and commercial spaces.

Working with a diverse range of clients, from private individuals to retail brands and global companies, Jon’s work finds a common thread in establishing a clean, clear, and reductive approach, distilling design down to its essential form. Whether designing products or spaces, he aims to create solutions that are visually distinct, while ensuring a highly functional user experience.
