Dendy St Beach Pavilion and Life Saving Club (LSC) is complete!

There’s a great sense of joy that comes with delivering this project and its rejuvenated precinct – especially at dusk, when the pavilion lights up and the colours of sunset wash across Port Phillip Bay. The project provides a dynamic new community pavilion that accommodates the Brighton LSC, multipurpose meeting space, public plaza, cafe and public amenities.

The ground floor is recessed into the dunes to reduce visual impact of the building.

The second floor is defined by two lightweight pavilions that embrace the open-air beach environment and facilitate community activities. The pavilions capitalise on their elevated position by capturing bay and city views.

In addition to creating a signature landmark building for Brighton, the design preserves the character and historical significance of the precinct while improving the appearance, amenity, safety and functionality of the site.
