This is an ambitious social housing proposal for developer and operator Uniting that will support low-income people who may have experienced homelessness, family violence or other challenges.
Set to replace 16 existing dilapidated single storey units outside the town centre, the new development includes three separate, four-storey buildings containing 44 one-, two- and three-bedroom units in total.
The materiality, selected for its durability, comprises concrete, brick, metal and timber while the architectural concept is centred around community, wellbeing, safety and care.
